HI,

Pretty new to the forum and need some advice.
I'm just building up my Parlee z5 with Campagnolo hyperons and a new recon campag 11 speed cassette, the problem is that the cassette seems wider than a standard campag one and therefore touches the frame/dropout. My friend who's a bike mechanic thinks that even with a thinner lock ring it will still foul.
I was wondering if any of you had any experience of with campag recon cassettes.

Thanks.

Is it titanium or aluminum one-piece?

Because I had a Recon titanium 11speed, where the largest sprockets were not seated correctly on the center alu-spider. The riveting was very poorly done, so the sprockets were further apart than they should be. Also the rivets were sticking out so far on the back, that the touched the spokes!

I returned it to the shop, and bought a Super record instead :)

Edit: Found picture of the defective cassette with my comments on:

it's the Alu one piece, 11- 27 11 speed.
Each sprocket is 2mm wide and my old chorus cassette on the winter bike is 1.8 per sprocket. Overall is too wide with the campag wheels.

I'm trying to fit a recon alu cassette to the campagnolo hyperons. The campagnolo cassette but the recon one is too wide, I'm trying to find out if there's a solution to fitting the recon one.
