Has anyone ridden (or better - own) a 2013 Fenix?

I'm looking at one with Ultegra Di2. It seems ok apart from the average wheelset but I haven't been able to test ride it or even find a review.

Got one second handed in mint condition. Frame fork and token PFBB all at 800USD. Cannot really make meaningful comparison as I only rode BMC Team Machine (phonak version) before. I rode the fenix for almost 1000k now. The ride is rather lively. Definitely stiff but not too harsh. Rode a century trip on bad tarmac. Could feel every single rocks but it doesn't make me sore felt like i could still go for another hours. Respond well under acceleration. I weight 64 and dont have enough power to flex it in any condition. I dont race so this bike is more than enough for me for now. The frameset is not light. I forgot the bare weight though. Take corner quite well. As i said I haven't ridden a more expensive bike so take this for whatever it worths.

Paintjob is well done though not as neat as the more expensive models for obvious reason. Finish could be a little better but thats just me cause i prefer matte coating.

Problem i have during the build is that the internal cable make for some annoying noise. Need to insert a rubber ring or two next time i get it serviced. Other than that no problem whatsoever.

Built was budget. Full 105 / Shimano R500 / 3T pro stem bars seatpost. Weight is 8.3kg with bottle cage and sigma comp+ speed and cadence sensor. Could save a lot more weight with carbon wheels, seatpost and cockpit. I spent about 1.7k on this bike.

Overall very please with it. I had a head on collision with other rider at 50kph once (still hurt!) but the frame suffer no damage apart from minor scratch. Hope this helps. One of the more affordable enty carbon bike for sure.

Review on this bike is hard to come by for some reasons.

The LBS bought a few of them here. In the hands, it felt like a very light frame (I didn't weigh it). The new Aksiums are not that bad, really.

I noticed there was a lot of wire under the BB area though. Looked awkward.
Maybe because they're the first Di2 bikes the techs are assembling there.
Must be some cleaner ways to assemble a Di2 setup...I doubt the frame design is at fault...
