2013 Force shifters with 2012 rear derailleur?
Moderator: robbosmans
I'm building up a frame with SRAM Force. I was able to get some great 2012 closeout deals. Will the new 2013 Force shifters, with their zero loss feature, work correctly with a 2012 Force rear derailleur? I don't know if any mechanical changes were made to the 2013 derailleur.
fine ..pull ratio remains the same

Works like a charm--just installed mine last night.
Only problem is now that I have Zero-Loss and have picked up an old Red Powerglide chainring, I feel the need to add in the Aeroglide bearings in the RD. How obnoxious is it that the bearings cost $150 and whole the derailleur has an MSRP if $140? And with no clear way to tell between the two, it's awfully iffy to be sure you're getting the new RD.
