I'm using a 3T Less stem at this time and am thinking of changing stem length.....as a result I also was thinking maybe changing to either a Syntace or Ritchey stem to save a few grams (although the Less stems aren't too bad already). For those with Syntace and Ritchey stems could you measure the height where the stem clamps around the steerer - as the Less stem is on the shorter side and I only have 5 mm of spacer above the top cap of the threadless headset which I can remove to compensate should the Syntace or Ritchey be a whole bunch taller.

My F119 manual states a minimal steerer clamping length of 32mm. I think you're pretty safe considering how short that number is.

I have a Ritchie Pro (I think all Ritchie stems have the same height) and it is 39.
For certain parts stiffer is more important than lighter.
