Chaps

I posted last week about Orbea frames and thanks to all of you who replied.

Well we are a week further in and she can't decide what she wants so I've been tasked with producing a shortlist.

Details are as follows. Top Tube has to be between 50 and 52 cm. Ideally 51cm c-to-c

She's warming to Carbon but is also looking at Aluminium and Titanium.

Price wise we have up to £2000 for the complete bike without wheels. So I guess a sensible budget is £1000 for frame and forks with the remainder spent on groupset etc.

She also agrees that a Compact Chainset is the way to go.

So far have the following options.

1) Orbea Arin (Aluminium)
2) Orbea Lobular (Aluminium with either Carbon or Alu stays)
2) Omega Shadow (Titanium)
3) Ridley Excalibur (Carbon)
4) Look 555 (Carbon)

Oh and Groupset wise it's Campag Centaur or a mix of Centaur and Chorus.

Thanks in advance

Al

From that list I would go for the Look 555. In light blue and white it is a thing of beauty - even for a guy.
