Just wanted to chime in with my personal experiences regarding Flanders/Roubaix and cobblestones. Last spring i spent 14 days riding the famed cobbled roads of Flanders alon with the last 100 km of the Paris-Roubaix on Continental GP 4000s. On the day of my P-R adventure it rained for the entire time and we spent plenty on time getting lost and riding old farms tracks during our 14 day stay. In the end i didn't have one single puncture and never felt that the tyres didnæt have sufficint grip.
