I have just bought a pair of bora one 50 clinchers for a good price, only thing is they have a shimano freehub body fitted and I am running campagnolo EPS.
What is the best option cassette wise to use in terms of performance, Dura ace, ultegra or SRAM red/force?
Or would I notice any better performance by buying the campagnolo cassette body and running a campag cassette?

For reference I am using a KMC x-11sl DLC chain and Campag Chainset

You should buy a campa free hub to mount on it.... it did that once for zips.... will cost you about e50,- and then you are ok to fit campa cassette what is in any case needed / better!

Just get an Ambrosio cassette. They offer a choice of index and spline, so you run a cassette with Campagnolo indexing on a Shimano/SRAM spline. Around half the price of replacing the freehub.

Here's an example, although not the exact part you need. http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product/38 ... sette.html

But I have heard that 11 speed cassettes are cross compatible with all groupsets?
I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this and whether they would recommend shimano or SRAM for this

I've heard of people using SRAM cassettes with 10 speed Camapgnolo, so the same may work for 11 speed.

Honestly though, I'd just get an Ambrosio one. Cheaper than a SRAM block and you have the extra security knowing it's designed to work with a Camapgnolo drivetrain.

Just buy the cheapest 11spd shimano one you can get your hands on.
Spacing is practically the same as C11, you wont notice the difference.

There's thousands of people that are cross breeding 11spd systems.
FWIW, Ambrosio cassetttes are sh**.......

Ultegra 11 spd cassette will work flawlessly and is at price/performance sweetspot - sorted!

very happy running SRAM cassette w/ Campy 11 speed. The SRAM is cheaper than Campy, and won't chew up the freehub splines the way Shimano does. Also, the SRAM doesn't have a well known failure issue as does Dura Ace.

Had to check the OP date, as I thought this must be a 4 year old dredge.

The compatibility of 11-speed Shimano cassettes with Campy 11-speed has been well documented since their introduction. There were even some heretics who maintained that the Shimano shifted better.

No personal opinion on the Shim vs. SRAM question, but I'm guessing that the consensus would favor Shimano.

Fair enough, I've been running them for years (as Shimano wheels are much easier to come by) and never experienced any issues, or difference to my proper Camapgnolo cassettes.

One more data point for the OP: I am running a Sram XG-1190 cassette with a KMC X11SL DLC and it shifts flawlessly. Derailleurs are DA9000 mechanical though.

I ran XG-1190 on my SR EPS bike exclusively and had zero issues.

Ive decided to go for a ultegra 6800 cassette as it was only £33.99 so will report back as to how it works with the EPS

This is weight weenies, the obvious answer would be a sram red cassette assuming the spacing is the same.
