Hi,
I have 2011 CAAD 8 105.
I recently tried to lose some weight of the bike, so I am doing some research on weight of each parts of my bikes.
I could find most of the parts but I could not find the weight of CAAD 8 frame.
I could find some old posts about weight of the frame of CAAD8, but I heard that "Old" CAAD 8 is different from "New" CAAD 8.
Is it true that "Old" CAAD 8 frame is lighter than "New" CAAD 8 frame?
If it is different, does anyone know the weight of the frame of "New" CAAD 8
Thank you!
Old CAAD 8 vs New CAAD 8 ?

I don't know the specific numbers, but the two frames will be a little different. The newer CAAD8 has some updates taken from the CAAD10. I doubt anyone's going to know your frame weight, since you haven't listed the size. :P

The old CAAD8 around 2006 is a proper Made-in-USA race frame and can come in at around 1200g-1300g. The new CAAD8 2010 - onwards is a cheaper entry level frame with sportive/gran fondo geometry. Its weight is probably 1500g+
I have the old, made is USA, CAAD8. My size 54cm came in at 1188gr and fork at 420gr. My build consists of mainly leftover parts like old Sram Force and some 1600gr wheels. The bike came in at 16.5lbs
