I sold my scott addict sl in October and I've kept in touch w/ the guy who bought it. He purchased it w/ the intention of stripping it down and clearcoating it. He recently sent me a picture-- it went from 813g to 740g and it looks great. This is the frame w/ the standard bsa bottom bracket (the "heavier" one).

Loved that frame, I'm glad it went to a proper home!

I own this frame (not the SL one though) and it's a dream. Light, stiff, responsive, and quick. Scott makes a great bike for sure. Nice to know how much my paint weighs now, I was always curious.
