Hi,

I have a BB30 frame with Specialized BB30 crankset. As i do not want to press in BB30 bearings so as to fit the crank, i came upon this product:

http://fairwheelbikes.com/thm-bottom-br ... -5189.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The THM BB30 bottom bracket seems to fit BB30 frame via screwed-in external bearing cups. Will doing so allows the Specialized BB30 crankset be installed?

Anyone knows? Thanks!

That BB is too wide for a BB30 crank.

I think the THM BB30 BB will only work for THM Crankset.

Is it a true bb30 frame? I'm only asking because if it is a Specialized frame, then it probably has a Spceialized OSBB, which use a 46mm ID instead of 42mm ID.

There's some cranks with 30mm spindles that are longer than BB30. Lightning and Rotor are a couple I know of. The BB looks like it'd work with Lightning, assuming those are 6803 bearings.
