I'm trying to find the size of the nipple holes on the rims 3T uses for their Accelero Pro wheelset and I don't have a caliper to measure it and I don't think my ruler is very accurate because I get a diameter of about 10mm and the only sizes I see for veloplugs are for 8mm holes and 8.5-9.3mm holes.

I'm on a budget and found the wheelset for a steal, and they are a lot lighter than my stock wheels, but I know there's lighter sets out there. I just took off my rimtape on the front and it, along with a few QC stickers weighed just over 20g, and I just got some ti skewers that will be 60+ grams lighter than the 3T skewers.

I'm resurrecting this thread with basically the same question: will yellow Veloplugs work on a rim with 10,25 mm spoke holes? In this case, it's an Aeolus 5 rim.

The yellow plugs should work, in theory because they are the bigger size.

If you get them and they're too small, I found that putting a small square of plastic bag over the hole and let it kinda fill the extra space, they should stay in there.
