Post subject: Tufo clincher tubular & rim pressures

Anybody familiar with TUFO's clincher tubular ? I am assuming whatever pressure you put in the tyre the force on the sidewall remains constant so you can skip rim manufacturer warnings.
Also the last time i used these tyres rim dimension were pretty consistent does anybody know if they still work OK with wider rims like the a23?
