In cycle chat because I realize this is not Fashion Weenies... but.. does anyone have any pictures of bikes with a black stem and a white handlebar? Preferably also white handlebar tape but black tape would also be great. It's something I may consider as well, as this is the saddle I will most likely use on the build:

White handle bars (as opposed to just tape) are rather scarce. Probably best to use google image search for white handle bar models (Ritchey, Deda, ...)

Yes I tried that as well. Seems white bars and tape with a black stem is even more scarce, I could only find one picture which has this combination:

This one has black tape and also white hoods (do not want to go that route):

Hope to find some more, thanks.

Because of a bar tape test.

Morpheous on these forums has a turbomatic which is half white and black and he's run his bars with white on one side and black on the other - to match the saddle.

when i first saw it i thought...mmmm interesting...now i really like it!

Thanks. :beerchug: But also the white stem, this combination is found more often but I'll definitely use a black stem.

It'll look fine. Can't you picture it in your head? Use your imagination.

Problem with white is that is very hard to get the same color on different bits, if not impossible.
Look at the Ritchey bike in the back, one white on the tape another on the handlebar
and a third on the stem. The frame is most likely a fourth tint.
Well we are all different but it bugs me on my own bike for sure.
Other bikes? That is their problem.
