Under the saddle would be good temp solution until seatpost available.

Some of the cipollini bikes with eps come with it there.

Also think special saddle wiring kit available.

I can confirm it can be done:

It did require some drilling - the cables are the same as Di2, but the connectors are larger. Also got a custom battery mount under the BB which required some work too, but was best place for it IMO.
