Interesting bike and love the camo attempt.

Not entirely convinced this will be a suitable competitor within the aero-bike category but lets see what they say.

On a separate note, I'm definitely not sold on their new color schemes for the 2017 King XS lineup, especially having removed the Santini Orange color.

Just received this info from a dealer, A completely new Protos will be unveiled in November. We don't know much about this new frame expect that is completely new.

Found this picture on the web. Apparently it was taken when Derosa presented the 2017 models in Taipei.

I have a Derosa Protos now and I have to say the new frame is a bit underwhelming compared to the last model. Direct mount brakes, more aero seatpost, looks more like a climbing bike now. I would interested to see the weight of the frame.

Several dealers who I spoke with before placing my order also confirmed the all new Protos is coming soon.

I was able to procure one of the last bare frames in the factory in Italy. It's getting a custom paint job right now. Should have it in a few weeks.
