You're going to need a specific tool from Rotor. I think it's about 60 dollars.

I'm facing the same issue. It's very easy with the tool. Impossible without it.

Power2Max powermeters include the tool if you buy a 3D+ crank and P2M from them because you have to take off the spider to remove the P2M in order to change the chainrings.

I have a small collection of them back in Europe, but neglected to bring one back with me for a stay of a few months in Australia. I've worn my chainrings out and can't seem to find the tol anywhere. The Australian Rotor distributor doesn't have any, nor do any Cervelo dealers despite many Rotors being specced on many Cervelos.

Ordering online direct from Rotor is probably the way to go.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but I would like to swap my 110bcd spider for 130bcd. As for the topic, I've done it with this specific tool with no problems, but may have to use vise/vice. The lockring is glued and it is really hard to grab the crank with one hand and use the wrench with another.

I used the Power2Max tool when I got my PM and got the spider off clean without any issues. Very easy installation.
