I will try molding the Bont's again to see if I can increase the volume of the toe box even more otherwise the S-works look be a promising option. Thanks for all the help guys!

I would consider some Vittoria however I have yet to find anyone in the state of Wisconsin that has a full stock of them to actually try on. I can at least try on other options like the S-works or Sidi Mega here locally without a big hassle.

Where in Wisconsin? I know that Fit to be tri'd, chronometro and some others have/had a nice selection. I am not sure what everyone has now of course but Fit has ordered many from us including multi-length and differing widths and volumes.


In Aus, that one is tougher as we go thru a distributors there. So I am not sure the local dealers. But if you contact our distributors maybe they can point you in the right direction.

For the US, our office is owned by the family who owns and started Vittoria. So we have access to the dealers as they all run thru the US Office. We are at event quite often and pretty much all thru the summer including TOAD. As well as I-US BossGuy-travel the US often to visit dealers and our outisde reps.

The cx331 heat moldable and a pretty high volume toe box

I actually live about ~2miles from Cronometro and then haven't stocked Vittoria in quite a while. For the past 3+years they have pretty much been entirely Bont with a few Sidi's thrown in.

I know one of the guys and the owner just bought some for themselves recently. If they do not have something currently, they can absolutely get something in. We send dealers shoes all the time so they can try something out with a customer. Just let them know what you are interested in and we can take care of it.

I met the owner at TOAD and he loves the shoes. I will make sure our Wisconsin rep stops and takes care of things.

I seem to have a very long (size 47) but narrow feet (although still too wide at the toes for Mavic and Shimano's standard fit).

As a result in most shoes even with all of the straps as tight as they go only the ratchet nearest my ankle goes tight enough to pull leaving my forefoot moving around unsupported. I could fit a flat insole under the moulded footbed and raise my whole foot 1-2mm but I'd rather not if there is a brand that works without (thank you Giro).

Thanks for the update on the Vittoria's, I'm going to try molding out the Bont's toe using a screwdriver but if that doesn't work I will be in touch regarding the shoes.

I think we may have been talking at crossed purposes. I thought you were specifically meaning the toebox and not the instep. I've got lowish volume feet but found Zxelliums were okay on the instep if I moved the straps to the other "shorter" position. Not all shoes have this kind of adjustability though.
The main thing is you've found shoes you're comfortable in!
