I'm needing new tires for some winter training, I have Schawlow ultremo zx and it's time to replace. What the lightest tab fastest tire I can go get at a store and not have to order online?

Why do you want very light tyres for winther use? You should go for more tpi and grip. 4000S or Pro4

Notwithstanding why you want the lightest tires for winter training (around here in the winter you want the most durable not lightest), it depends on where you live. If you live around me then you are stuck with a very limited choice of tires to buy in a shop none of which would be considered light. But if you are looking at lightest tire puncture resistance and durability be damned then the Schwalbe ZLX (160g) or the Bontrager R4 (175g) are both in the discussion.

I want light tires even though it's winte for the same reason people want 10 pound bikes, not because I need it, but because it's fun to have a light bike. I'm not the type who has specific equipment for races.

Get some Continental supersonics. You won't get long before your first pucture, but as you request they are light at around 145g. Or get the 20mm version and save additional 10g.

Anders. You are right, but it's just plain stupid to ride them in winther time.

Has anyone tried the Michelin Pro 4 Service Course Comp Limited? They Claim to be 150g, same as the SC Comp, just missing the puncture strip.

Is that tyre available anywhere? I was looking for the Michelin Pro 4 Service Course Comp, but even that isn't available yet AFAICT.

IMHO You should look at the tire tube combo. Take a look at the high end IRC tires.

Take a look at the Crr tables at Bike Tech Review. He has weighed lots of tires.
