I have the opportunity to but a Giant TCR Advanced for 650 dollars but the bottom bracket is BB86 can I use the Rotor crank with the Shimano BB86 bottom bracket?

I can't find the link, but I remember that it does work, but with the Rotor BB86 BB, not sure about compatibility with the Shimano BB though

As long as it is not the 3d+, but the regular 3d, it will work. Rotor 3d cranks fit the same as Shimano, they are cross-compatible.

Yes, the 3D works with regular BB86 bottom bracket cups. The 3D+ needs special bottom bracket cups which are currently only made by Rotor itself.

I was under the impression that the Rotor 3D+ would work with the Zipp Vumaquad BSA68 bottom bracket. I hope so or i'll have to get one of those Rotor ones when my Power2max get delivered. Anyone out there able to confirm this?

But Vumaquad cups will not work for the OP's Giant TCR with a BB86 bottom bracket. 8)
