I want to use this photo as an example - I don't believe the poster has replied on his process.

Does anyone know of any posts here with more details on how they have made a combo saddle/post like this? Specifically what adhesive they would use? Would a rotary tool be needed to match the under side mpolding to the seat post shape or vice/versa?[/quote]

Oh lord in heaven, that thing must be transferring alot of vibrations up the spine!?

As you know I make stuff from carbon fibre and here a couple of bicycle parts.

Where I live is fairly flat so I don't use the granny ring so instead of having the front mech I made this guide.

Unless I'm very much mistaken it's a custom junction box by Skunkworks bikes, seen once in the flesh and it's an awesome piece of engineering, he's on the forum actually under the name sugarkane

no is not, that is really home made by me, but thanks for compare it to skunkworks master piece.

i dont have pictures of the process and english is not my flkuent language so i try to explain.

i open a 3 port juntion box, inside the junction box the 3 port all converge to 2 contact so i soder one cable and that cable plug in one shifter from the other shifter came one cable that plug in the bb junction in the other conections of the bb junction i plug fd rd and baterie. in the 2 remain conections i plug diy climbers buttons.

the round piece with the charge port is a simple piece of plastic

I really like this, but why not use a flat bar end cap ?

It would look clean and match the cap on the other side.

Made a garmin out front mount for my MCFK stem out of 3mm carbon plate, ti tube, and some garmin inserts for a k edge mount

It fits an exposure adapter i made so the lights just attaches via another garmin 1/4 turn mount too.
Sorry for the poor photos - also i am going to rewrap the bartape now that the garmin and light mount are no longer attached to the bars.

That is really neat! Challenging to have to accomodate the bend of the clamp faceplate.

Some great work going on here. I have a Tiso front derailleur I managed to track down and on its way. Hopefully I can do something interesting with it. Anyone done tuning to the body (not the plates)?

Canister was damaged on a crash, enough to develop a small crack leading to air loss. I had a carbon front derailleur clamp without any use, like those Parlee ones....did some trimming and shaping to cover just over the crack, sanded with a low grade sand paper on both surfaces before bonding it with Loctite EP120, Polishing work and voila!!....back to a functional canister.

I did this because I was having a hard time finding a replacement....eventually a found it and this one on the picture is a back up canister in case I need it.
