Hi, over the winter I'll be swapping out the stock Easton for an Enve fork on my Litespeed Archon Ti (Med size).

Looking for some advice on what to choose. 1.0 or 2.0? What Rake? Any Info greatly appreciated, thanks,

I think it depends heavily (excuse the pun), on who you are. If your username indicates anything about your physique then I'd go for the Enve 2.0, Although the 1.0 is still a fantastic fork capable of putting up with plenty of abuse. You'll find the 2.0 stiffer if you're a gorilla and perhaps a little more confidence inspiring when sprinting or putting a lot of stress on it.

In summary, both are great forks, go for the 2.0 if you want something slightly stronger.

As for rakes, well you'll have to give us some information on your bike's geometry there too. What are your current forks? What's your headtube angle? Stem length? Headtube length?

I really can't compare the 1.0 to the 2.0 or the Easton, but I changed the Profile Designs fork on my Merlin CR Works to an Enve 1.0 (both 43mm offset) and it was a definite improvement in handling. The weight difference was negligible.

This depends entirely on your weight. If your a bit heavier (ie approaching the 200lb range) then maybe consider going with the 2.0. If your a lighter rider though, then the 1.0 will do just fine. Concerning the rake, I think that the 43 or 45mm is the most practical option.

Weight 150-170 lbs, depending on time of year, but as the Archon's my main summer bike, on the lighter end of that scale,

About 1200watts(5sec), to 1000watts(10sec) for my better sprints this year. which i believe is relatively high, (I don't get outsprinted much). So weight wise an Enve1.0, but 2.0 for better sprint charaterestics?

The geometry of the Archon is here http://www.litespeed.com/bike.asp?content=T1-2013 (ML size)

Current forks are Easton EC90SL's, rake 43mm, which is probably the main thing I'm concerned about getting wrong with the Enves, should I change it?

Probably depends on your height and how high of a stack you run. If your a slam that stem type of rider who prioritizes weight over everything, then go with the 1.0. If your a casual rider who want a bit more of an upright position, then the 2.0 is the obvious choice.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other for sprinting. I just don't think that there would be a realistic.

put an Enve 2.0 on my 56cm Litespeed Icon and its been great. Apparently there isn't that much of a weight difference and the 2.0 is stiffer.
