With the Litespeed Ghisallo out-of-production for several years now, has anything filled the void?

Yes- Carbon, assuming you want a sub 1kg frame.
The Ti frames my wife and I have are 1250 & 1450ish, go much lighter and I feel the ride starts to get a bit too 'comfortable' (for me).

I don't think anyone has filled the void. My 2008 Lynskey R320 in ML is 1240 grams and builds into a 5,270 gram bike. Finding a 1240 gram titanium frame won't be easy these days either.

My Archon was 1197g

That included headset at it came pre-fitted, so you can take off about 80g?
Then I stripped the paint off a couple of years down the line, so ~20-30g?

(Gutted I didnt weigh it before rebuilding - Will next time it stripped for a deep clean.)

But sub 1100 probably, and its a proper stiff racing frame for sure.

I wonder whether the 44 mm headtubes and large buttom brackets like BB30 are making newer titanium frames heavier, or are the manufacturers just tired of warranty claims.

My Lynskey R340 Med (1450 ish, BSA bb) I would never describe as stiff, not compared to the two Alu frames I'm currently using anyway, what did they do with all those extra grams? not complaining though, love the way it rides.

Possibly - suspect there is also the realisation that the weight battle is lost for ever ... no-one is going to go Ti if it's ultra low weight they are after, and the message about ride quality has to be emphasised in a world where "sub 1100g" looks heavy ...
