Im sure everyones seen the 6kcycles seatpost as its been talked about a lot here. Has anyone ordered one of these posts / post& clamp combos from Mr.Ride ? They seem like the same design, with better mounting hardware .

I've ordered one, but have not installed it yet. Matte UD for my Parlee Z5SLi. 134.5 grams for 31.6x350.

The 6K cycles aluminum post was less than 120g (can't remember the size) but the cradle was razor thin. Wouldn't trust it with carbon rails.

Took about a week for delivery to California.

The cradle is not much.. but I plan to use it with my steel railed Arione, at least initially.

hmm, I have a specialized s-works toupe carbon railed saddle. Are you suggesting not to use the 6kcycles or mr.ride posts?

I do not know - if you look at the cradles, there is very small rail contact areas on all the ultralight clamps.

On the other hand, I see plenty of people using them with carbon railed saddles - at least in pictures!
