Anyone drill holes in the rim bed of Alloy rims to save weight? A old school guy I know used to do it. I have a set of 24 hole rims, obviously tandem rims are 48 so i wouldn't think its a horrible idea.
I didn't think it would save much weight but Shimano makes an alloy rim in tubeless and normal, with the tubeless being a bit heavier, supposedly due to the holes in the rim bed.
drillium rims?
