That's a stunning looking crankset and great to see it being brought to market. I'd love to see what it actually looks like on a bike. In time we'll see no doubt

It certainly has not.
Members here have enough cynicism in them to not buy something hook line and sinker just because someone on the internet says this is the best thing ever. Especially given Teddy's(Hi Ted) track record when it comes to customer service and product availability.
- Zipp rims will break if you look at them too hard
- R-Sys wheels will spontaneously explode
- The ZG crankset will never, ever exist
- Everyone needs Lightweights, even if they're fat and old
- Parts actually made of metal are SO 10 years ago

This is the original Zero Gravity crank in my hands at the 2006 Tour de Georgia.
Laff. I'll have to show Christian this picture next time I see him and see if he remembers taking it.

Weight change...
The rev 2, as they're working out the details dropped 70 grams... The power of the almighty circle. Another take away is that you should be clear that these are a product that are still developing.

On another note, your signature may need an amendment.
The cranks look fantastic! I don't have nearly the budget necessary to purchase a pair, but I'll enjoy the pictures for now.
Here's the email I received:
Gravitas Crank Spec Revision
70 gram mass reduction! (new test weight at 378 grams)
The Ciamillo Gravitas Crank is still in development and over the next few weeks we will continue to test the design and make improvements. However, we have recently made some radical changes to the core geometry and material which has allowed a mass reduction of an incredible 70 grams. Testing and tweaking was not expected to produce such huge mass reductions and we are excited to say that we are testing at 378 grams for arms, spider, and spindle. This new design is on track to be the lightest crank in the world.
If you haven't got your order in yet, please know that there are a few sets left at this special pre-order price. If you have reserved your set, thank you. We are progressing well with testing and expect to begin shipping in about 5 weeks.

FYI, that was from the email, I'm not particularly thrilled about that appearing as my quote because they're not my words.
