I just saw in the 2013 catalogue (http://www.tune.de/wp-content/uploads/2 ... wnload.pdf) that the Speedneedle is listed at 89 grams. Previously, it was quoted at 97 grams. Does anyone know if there are any changes to the saddle as of 2013, or is it just a typo in the new catalogue?

The alcantara version has been right around that weight if not coming in a few grams under for a few years already.

Yeah, it's been quoted at 87 g I believe. But my question remains: does anyone know if Tune have tweaked the Speedneedle leather version to reduce the weight by 8 grams?

No....all speedneddles are basically unchanged from previous versions. As mentioned the Alcantara is the lightest one a sub 90 grams, just checked one from our inventory and it's spot on.

Tune has confirmed it's a typo in the catalogue. Case closed.
