am i going to die? (chinese integrated bar/stem)

well... they arrived mid-week, so just 10 days after placing the order.

no problems with customs. they were marked as a sample and were very well packaged.

general impressions so far is quite good. diameters of the tubing seems right, so they fit in all the right places. the stem angle is pretty slammed, so the bike is going to feel quite racey (the frame is a 001 chinese frame which has a very short headtube already)

in terms of weight, they come in at 388g which isn't too bad for an integrated bar/stem combo. for GBP63.00, you would probably struggle to do much better in terms of weight if you bought an alloy stem and bar combo.

anyways... no time yet to put them on the bike as my partner has just delivered my 'heir to the throne' to this world (apparently, babies are more important that bikes... who knew?!?), but I'll try to get them up and running next week and will post some more pics. In the meantime, so pics for those interested:-
