Why? Stem placement should be based on fit, not looks.

Secondly, and of arguable importance, because it will shave weight, which was the original question, correct? But I was talking about the "slam that stem" dust cap, which is anodized for lightness, substituting the conical spacer for la lightweight option, when coupled with lightweight spacers.

Can anyone post a pic of what this would look like without the conical spacer? I assumed the spacer was also covering bearings etc.

I'm open to trying this but want to be sure it's not going to look half baked.

You can get really low with many low-stack stem caps...including ones specially designed for caad10's, which i think will work will with the supersixes, called ''Slam That Stem".
