FWIW, Zipp claims that they have not received one heat related warranty claim on the carbon clinchers.

How reliable are the reports, have you seen any damaged 404 FC clinchers, and any pictures?

I have seen the Mefix!

For some reason the Comments section have been pulled down now but Cyclingtips did detail the incident as well
