I'm using a Red cassette with a DA drivetrain, so pretty sure it also works the other way around.

It's definitely compatible. Running Ultegra cassette right now for training wheels with SRAM red cassette for upcoming races on race wheels.

Works great. Quieter and slightly better shifting than the 2012 Red cassette.

I only use Shimano Cassettes with SRAM stuff... way quieter/better shifts in my experience

Shimano cassettes shift better, are quieter running and more refined.

I object. The new Red XG-1090 is possibly the best cassette out right now and considering this is weight weenies also a clear winner in the weight class.

Ride one proper setup and you might change your mind.
