Remove Di2 battery from casing and re-solder?

Hi all,
I've been searching for a step-by-step instruction as to how you can strip the original Dura Ace Di2 battery from the casing and rewire (re-solder) it into the wire from the wiring harness. I seem to remember that Coloclimber did it on a Time a while ago but cant seem to find the post.
Anyone who can either 1)point me to a few posts that shows how to do this or 2)have instructions yourselves that you'd be willing to share?

My advice, forget about hacking the actual battery, just buy some different 3.7v cells (14650's). Much easier. There is a mini circui board in the battery (load/charge protection I think it is) and gets messy trying to re-use.

Don't just do it, find out how not to do it.

Cococlimbers thread:-
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=67791Also, had to charge mine today, so took some pics of my procedure along the way in case you're interested in this approach (using commonly available Lipo cells, chargers & holders)...
First, a very useful peice of coat hanger...
So, bike needing charge...
Seatpost off (spot the concealed pump in the seat post). Battery is down the tube...
Doesnt look pretty at this stage, but its weather proof. (Water gets everywhere!)
Removing the (disposable) layers, which are just plain old re-sealable baggies...
Battery holder with connection plug (£0.99 from Ebay)...
Cells removed (16340's, £4.99 from ebay)....
Into the chargers(s) (£5.99 from ebay)....
Wait... ( or swap in your 2 spares cells:) )

Now, start re-assembly...
More weatherproofing...
Pop it back in (with the coat-hanger/hook attachment)...
Pump goes fully back into the post (easily removed with a quick tap)
And done...
