Hey everyone,
Picked up a Trek Domane 2.0 and while the frame is great the wheels could really use some improvement. Looking to make the jump to wider wheels, rims and tyres with this bike and was looking for some advice on a good all around alum clincher wide wheel set to buy that won't totally crush my bank account. Thinking of putting either 25 or 28mm Conti 4000s II tires on these and need some help on what wheelset to best compliment them.
Thanks!
Wheelset for wide tires for Trek Domane?

I have to concur with the November wheels. I have a set they built up with Hed C2 23mm wide clinchers. 24/28 as well. 1500 grams.
I put conti 4000 Sii on them. 23mm front and 25mm rear. The front inflated is 24.8mm and the rear is at 27mm wide.

You can usually pick up a set of Bontrager RXL's for under $500 (DT Swiss internals, sub-1500g weight and tubeless compatible). I run 25mm Conti 4000 SII's on my wife's setup (Domane 6 series w/ Ultegra 6800) and it's close to the limit of the brakes. Not sure you'll be able to go with a 28mm on the back (I was able to fit a 30mm tire on the front, one time I tried).
