Got my rear derailleur down to 155 grams from 167. Should save another 14 with fibre lyte pulleys. also need to replace the main bolt. That might save 3-4 grams im guessing? Let me know what you think!

A sram red rear derailleur stock is lighter by 13 grams over your tuned model.

You could also say: "hey that is some great tuning work!"
Sure, a stock red is lighter, but this is what WEIGHT weenies is about. I'm happy to see somebody who is putting this much effort in tuning.

I actually got the cages down to 4 grams each. I removed a lot of material. I would be worried about the durability on those 2 gram cages haha

Awesome thread! Great work!
I too have a Fibre-lyte cage from Stephen, he has been great to deal with.
Ive got Ti pulleys and Ti bolt kit.
I must say, it never occurred to me to remove the adjuster itself?! Thats a great idea, and one Im going to try out!

Love it!
Looks the business.
I might take my dremel to a spare 105 derailleur to see how light I can get it. Nice work.
Good to see some gems still pop up on WW.
