I'm going to be the disenting voice. I wouldn't trust that frame. $600 towards a newer, non shattered frame would be a far more prudent investment. However, i would keep the frame and it could be used for carbon projects. You could repair it yourself and used it as an indoor bike on the trainer exclusively.

LOL

Kind of like listening to sea shells for the roar of the ocean... but sadder... :(

A (NOS) time VXR is available for € 1995 for frame, fork, headset, spacers, stem, seatpost and bottlecage.

The VXR wasn't there top end or high-end, (VXRS ulteam and VXRS) the VXR was mid-range.

Garage top hits the seat, front fork is attached to rack and then the screaming starts. Seen another Time with the same clean break at the lugs. If you listen close, in the top tube, you can still hear the owner crying. You have more problems than appears, the fork was under serious stress, along with the seat tube, so you will need to x-ray the fork and frame, then take your chances riding this rig. No, Time will not repair the bike, and the owner, just collected insurance and moved on. You might as well add the frame to heap of Lance TdF videos, at your local college bonfire!

+1 !!!

I too had to place all my Lance tour VHS tapes on the curb because Calfee couldn't repair the custom carbon fiber PLAY button on my VCR.
