I'm on the verge to switch to TI to replace my stolen 2006 R3 that was optimize to reach 6.2 kg :
I have found 2 used bike; a standart (non OS) Helix size S and an Archon size M.
Both are MINT condition from 2011. I thing both are really good frames to build a fast bike.
There are two question ;
The most important concerns the sizing; I choose the R3 size M without any advice. He was a little bit too long with a 110 stem.
I already use in Britanny another carbon bike (2008 FUJI TEAM size 52) that I feel maybe a too short, maybe because I felle better on the R3
I wonder if the HELIX should not be too small because effective top tube length is 525 on Helix size S versus 540 for Archon size M. R3 was 545 and FUJI 529
Besides seattube angle are 74 for HELIX S, versus 73.5 for ARCHON, R3 was 73 and FUJI 74 (I have a thomson saddle with setback on FUJI).
I should mention that the Lynskey recommandation HELIX sizing chart put my 171 cm surprisingly in the middle of M size!
The second question is relate with how responsive those Ti bikes are? Is there some difference?
Thanks in advance for advice!
