Right now I am contemplating buying a Caad10 5 with 105 components for $1099. Pretty damn good price (not that far off the frameset retail?). However, I think I will want to replace pretty much every single part.

Have people had much success in selling new take-off parts? Any tips on where or how to sell? Is there much of a market for quality, but entry level parts like this?

Just kind of wondering aloud but any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

The drivetrain will be easily sold on ebay or whatever auction site you use and easily make your money back.
Cannondale branded things like saddle, seatpost, stem, handlebars will be hard to get rid of, but at least that's among the least expensive components.

I did the same thing. Took about a month to sell all 105 parts. 105 should be easy to sell, because their price/performance ratio is good.
You could also use the leftover parts to build a winter bike (if such thing as winter exists in your area).
