Just aquired a pair of very old but brand new DT hubs. The rear comes with several end caps so you can space it out from 120 to 140mm, any one know if these are worth building up, thinking a strong pair of winter wheels?

Also got an even older but brand new Machine Tech rear hub with a silent clutch type freewheel, is it any good, certainly looks amazingly well made and over complicated inside. 135spacing and not disc so not sure what to do with that one

Well post the Machine tech hub to me if you can't think what to do with it. I can think of several things. As for the DT hubs why not build them up. Are they 240's?

they are deffinatly pre 240's, silver, steel freehub body, circlips holding the bearings in, steel end caps. very smooth but not light.

The machine tech hub is anodised red, if i cant find a use for it i'll let you know, all my bikes with 135spacing are disc
