Hi all,

I know this was common place for the prior SRAM Red iteration to run with Dura-Ace 7900 chain & cassette but is anyone using this with the new 2012 version of SRAM RED and if so do you have anything to comment on? I know the 2012 Red cassette is lighter then a DA 7900 but chains are pretty much punch for punch.

Be interested to hear comments as that would be my preferred setup when i upgrade, to me it seems tom-a-toes and tom-a-toes!?!

Don't do it, I'm running DA stuff with my Exogram crank because their chain and cassette is known for being quieter - I'd heard it was still better than the new RED. After riding a complete new red group... I'm kicking myself. I can't wait for this stuff to wear out!
