Joined: Fri Jun 03, 2011 6:30 pm Posts: 39	Arghh. Rode super six evo after washing and it creaks awfully. Have eliminated most obvious things such as qrs headset stem bolts pedals chainring bolts wheels shoes etc. are these bbs prone to wear or do the cranks need regular attention?

Joined: Mon Jan 24, 2011 8:09 pm Posts: 381	Exactly, getting the tolerances to such tight standards for the BB itself and the outer diameter of the bearings is difficult. Surprised more pressfit, bb30 don't creak.

Joined: Sun Aug 23, 2009 10:15 am Posts: 104	Before you reinstall with loctite, perhaps take the crank out, clean, regrease and make certain the left hand crank bolt is torqued up correctly - 45 to 55nm i believe, this worked for my GFs Caad10 when it started creaking.
