Dura Ace 7900 hub adjustment

Hi, i've just treated myself to a new Dura Ace 7900 C24 wheelset, but the bearings on the front wheel could do with being loosened off a bit as there seems to be just a touch too much drag when it spins. I understand that cone spanners are no longer required and two 5mm allen keys are the only tools required to remove the axle. My question is, once the end cap has been removed, do I then need to slide off the cone holding tube to adjust the cone itself, or do I just turn the cone holding tube to loosen the cone?

Also, the rear freewheel doesn't seem to spin as well as other Shimano wheels that I have (Ultegra 6700). Could this also be a case of the cone being too tight or are freewheels independent of bearings? Is there some kind of 'break-in' period for new freewheels?

Thanks for any help! :P

ride them for 200 miles and then take a look at them. The shop that I bought mine from gave me that advise and adjusted mine, mine were tight also.

I hope to see the comments on adjustment since I now have 4000 miles on mine and want to ajust them again myself, now loose.
