Hi guys,

I have 2011 reynolds assault clinch wheelset to rebuilt. I would like to upgrade the hub to CK R45 with Aerolite spokes. The problem is I want reuse the original nipples. Does anyone know what type of nipples did they use? nipple length/measurement? 12mm or 14mm?. Without know the type of nipple or measurement I can't calculate the spokes length using DT Swiss Spokes Calculator.

If I have to buy the new nipples, type of nipples should I buy? Pillar hexagonal nipples? I really hope that I can reuse the original nipples.

Plus, worth to buy CK R45 ceramic or not?

Thank you.

Do you want to reuse to original nips only because you don't want to buy new ones?

The nipples used should be pillar internal hex nipples. They are definitely no longer than 12mm. I recently re-laced a reynolds attack to DT240s and the most difficult part of the entire thing was getting the ERD for the rim....
