I believe this is the bar -

It looks exactly like the Stella Azzurra carbon bar to me.

It's not the Stella Azzura, it has individual finger grips, this has none.

Particularly interested in the wheels. They are obviously made by Lightweight, but have the Tune stickers on them. Are they a lighter variant and where did you get them from? I realise they are hideously expensive.

Would stick with the TCR as well.

Why do you have Tune stickers on your Ada / D&O wheels??????

You could probably save over 100 grammes by using the Schmolke carbon bars (weight 140-160 g) and the Syntace F99 stem (weight 90-110 g).

It would be possible to have a combined weight of 230g. The rig you have is approx 350g. So, there's quite a saving there already. Also, what is the weight of the tyres? That was another area where I saved a heap of weight on my TCR by using 160g Tufo tubulars for which I've had no problems even when riding in lousy weather with grit strewn roads. So, i went down from 500g to 320g. It soon adds up.

They are not on the Tufo site. The one's on their site are 190g (cannot remember the name). Poshbikes got them for me and said they were a special tyre made for them, hence the 160g. I think they are a good tyre. Used them in the rain and grit on roads and they handled well. 700 x21 I think. They do some others at 120g or less, but I wouldn't use them that light. Before that I was using some Vittoria's, but the Tufo are better quality, although the Tufo's are much more expensive. I paid Pounds 40 per tyre.

Sorry I can't give you all the technical stuff on it, so you should contact Andy at Poshbikes.

The Tufo's are the Elite Jet and Tufo garantees their weights. I have a pair as well, but I use them on the front and the S3 lights on the rear. www.sdeals.com is the cheapest place I can find on tires. They have them for $48.

THANKS for your comment :D
I really enjoy the shape of This bar
Its very ergonomic and STIFF!
I used to try Schmolke with ITM the stem before. But i like the stiffness of oversize clamp, thats why i change to this set up.

Otherwise, my GIANT carbon bar is very light and strong for oversize clamp. 8)

You're probably right. 8)
But my bar is a kind of proto-type one.
So its look a bit difference.
But its lighter than after market model.
Maybe the manufacturer make its lighter than usual for interest people about their product. :!:
Here are some pics of after market model....

man, velocity, you're a nut and I love it. Your bike is sick light and you're still freakin out about making it lighter. Now that you've informed us that you are an importer, hence get stuff at cost probably, I say screw it, build to your hearts desire. Wanna save 100 gm by buying a new frame? go ahead. Want to save 20 gm by scrapping a perfectly good 100gm saddle? by all means. I say go wild Velocity! GOD SPEED!
