Looks very like a BMC but nice looking bike and apparently stiffer than a Cervélo R5.

Quite expensive though.

The price for the framset is very disappointing.
Sure it compares to other "famous brands" but I appreciated Neil Pryde's pricing on their Alize and Diablo framsets.
This one is far more expensive by comparison.

Disappointed that it's now at the bottom of my short list because of the proposed asking price.

I am increasingly interested in Neil Pryde frames. Like the product... but that is indeed a nice chunk of change for the frame...

The price is a bit up there. the size of those chain-stays are monstrous. its light and simple.

i like the cable for the rear brake, just wish it had internal cables for shifting.

IMHO frames of this weight and stiffness costing around 3000-35000 USD are the future standard.

From your keyboard to their screen.

i hope to see more bike frames like this in the 3000-3500 price range. the cannondale evo is. i think the upcoming helium SL is also in this price range and about 780g - qouted. i think as they start to use higher mod. carbon, material cost increase. i do not know what the price difference is in something like hexcel im10 vs toray T1000 (both are IM carbon - IM10 has a higher tensile modulus). i guess material cost isnt as much as tooling and R&D.

from what i gather, the trek madone 7 uses hexcel im10 fiber and for those huge tubes, they produced a frame thats 750g. thats pretty awesome. using this material with a much simpler frame design (round tubes) could get down to the 700g range.

the price is hight, BUT if you look at the competitor in this weight range, almost everyone (from a known manufacture) cost the same or more. or can´t be bought as a frameset (as cannondale supersix evo ultimate)
