Karl getting his brakes so fast had me curious so I put in a call to Ted to see what was going on. I was able to get thru to Ted, it appears he has the business phone going to his cell phone now. After a short conversation I found out that Ted was still pretty embarrassed by the rough patch he went thru and has taken steps that this will never be an issue again. I also will say that a few here too had issues so lets leave it buried for now. I know the story has been told here before but not only does Ted have a fully trained new staff and production is now ahead of orders. Ciamillo is now filling orders within a day or two of being placed. I guess custom orders would take longer but not a question that I asked.
While on the phone Ted also mentioned that thru customer feedback the products they make continue to get refined. There is a modification that was done to the pivot bolt the Gravitas SL that should the brake arms ever come loose they can easily be tightened but not overtightened. I'm not sure if this is done to the whole brake line but since Ted does lurk out here maybe he will let us know at some time.
Lastly, while I can't say what but I was told of a project that is winding up fast for a new product that I will hopefully be in line for first.
