I have a problem in my right Veloce Powershift shifter that has just about 3500km and never crashed. The shifting mechanism is similar to the old Escape and seems to wear out quickly. When I click in the thumb button, it shift more than one cog most of the time, sometimes 3 or 4 cogs. I had a similar problem with some old Escape shifters.

The thing is that I had faulty components in the past that I've sent to the webshop where I bought them and they sent them to Campagnolo and they simply find an excuse to not fix anything. I'm not very keen on the idea of wasting money shipping items to the webshop for nothing.

What are your experiences with them in terms of warranty?

I only have experience in the U.K. The warranty is honoured by the distributor. Camag offer a three year warranty and RJ Chickens so far have honoured the warranty with no fuss. Hopefully your distributor will be the same. You will probably have to go through your shop though. You do in the u.k at least as three are three Campag distributors and the end customer will not who who the kit has come through.

Just a thought, are you sure the shifting problem you have isn't a cable adjustment issue? When the thumb shifter moves more than one cog at a time, the cable tension is too tight. If not, maybe a rebuild kit for the shifter is in order (and hopefully warrantied).
