Hello weight weenies...
Bit of a peculiar question and possibly difficult to answer unless you tried yourself but can I mount a Conti 4000s size 25 on a CAAD9 with Crud road racer mudguards? I have been using these mudguards with Conti 4000s size 23 for years and they are very good.
I was looking for even more comfort and grip for those lazy commutes...
Thanks heaps
Max tyre size for CAAD9 + Crud road racer mudguards + 4000s

You'll be lucky Manny - it'll be tight, and you'll get a lot of noise.
Hi Rich!
Do you mean you tried and it works? What noise are you referring to? General debrief picked up while cycling that gets stuck on the tyre and rubs against mud guard to very limited clearance...? I know there is only one way to find out but I'm to lazy to buy the 25c, try them and then sell them on eBay if they don't work :-/

The guards will rub regardless - they're not proper mudguards so it's unavoidable. 25c tyres will only make that worse.
My advice is don't bother trying. The guards are designed for 23c tyres anyway.
