Currently on my winter bike the fork and headtube do not run smooth, that is the diameter of the headtube (45mm) is wider than that of the fork - see picture below. Ive ridden this bike for a while now but would like to swap out the forks to get something that runs smoother aesthetically.

Would either of these Easton forks have the same diameter as the headtube (45mm) and therefore fit nicely?

Is that the only option? Enve is a bit expensive for a students winter bike...thanks anyway

Either one of those forks will create the transition your looking for. Any fork that has the large carbon crown like those will have been made for integrated headsets.

Any "integrated" Fork should have a 45mm crown. I'd look at eBay for a new bike take take off or similar condition. The shorter the steerer the better the deal. If weight is a concern I'd avoid the EC70. Ritchey, EC90, Funda, Scott or Ouzo Pro would be good options. You can get good deals those with bike mfr.s graphics, which are easily removed.
