Anyone know if the EVO Himod Di2 will be available as a frameset only for 2013?? How about the new Slice?

Thanks

Going from history of Cannondale and people's experiences on here, the results for a frameset are likely to vary.

And err more on the side of "unavailable".

But a complete bike, selling off the Di2, would still leave you with a frameset for quite a good price I would think? No?

I got a price last year for frameset only and it was only 300 less than the complete bike ( 105 ). Not really worth it.

Getting a CAAD10 frameset this year proved to be a complete PITA. Numerous calls to dealers, weeks of waiting and lots of running back and forth left me empty handed. Their warehouse would tell the dealer one day they have framesets and can ship out immediately, two weeks later it'll just be unavailable for some reason. Even though the complete bike was only $500 less, I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of parting it out.

Even if you can order a frameset, Cannondale only offers them in the entry-level paint schemes. I don't think anyone has gotten the Ultimate EVO as a frameset-only, and CAAD10 anodized models were unavailable in NA this year for framesets.

Been easy for everyone I've known to get framesets you just gotta find a competent dealer. Try Pista Palace or Starnut's shop.

Admittedly, looking in March/April when stocks seemed to be low probably contributed to my problem looking for a frameset. People who ordered from the same dealer a few weeks earlier got them, although with a lengthy wait.

I wonder when the SiSL2 cranksets will be available alone? I would guess that initially they will be reserved for the complete builds.

I have been able to locate a 2012 EVO Di2 in my size in Canada...

Ive considered parting out the DI2 parts BUT its really only an upgrade kit on it since it does not have the Dura Ace crankset. Im sure anyone who wants Dura Ace Di2 right now is probably dead set on waiting for the new stuff , so the current stuff isn't grabbing much....

I could always use another set of wheels, Id have to keep the seatpost since its 27.2, the saddle I like, bar and stem are conveniently my size... its just a matter of really dumping that Di2 stuff and getting a Campagnolo freehub body for the Mavic wheelset..

If someone is seriously interested in the Di2 upgrade kit off that bike, PM me while I decide what to do...

Hmm, not really liking any of the colour schemes for 2013, the only bike I like the look of is the Caad10 Anodized black Di2. That and maybe the Slice, but only from certain angles. Ahh well, each to their own.
