Glad I chose to upgrade the road bike in 2012 instead of the CX bike. Not a fan of the new Evo paint jobs (so I'm lucky I've got an 2012 Evo team on the way), but I'm digging the SuperX. I can see myself upgrading the CX bike to a SuperX before the 2013 CX season in oz

Cross bikes get discs in 2013. Road bikes 2015.

and none of them will be good until Shimano makes a Dura-Ace disc brake. That's when things get awesome. I have no faith in Sram making a nice road disc. They still haven't figured out mtn.bikes.

Why not with Sram Red hydraulic disc brakes? But with mechanical I agree that Shimano is better than BB7.

Cannondale didn't spec the new RED brakes because they weren't sure if they'd be available. Maybe in 2014.

$4450 for a non-HM w/red... So how much would the HM version be?

Not that it's all bad, but the crankset shown on the Ultegra Di2 bike is the new forged Hollowgram, heavier than both the SiSL 1 and 2 with the press released so far, so maybe not the same value for $$$ y'all were thinking about?

Well, considering that the 2012 Supersix w/ Ui2 lists at $5,000 and comes with an FSA SL-K crank, the new one still looks decent if that's the case. The price range is about right for a Ui2-equipped bike, and the good thing is that Cannondale doesn't put cheap wheels as standard spec on its high-end road bikes (I'm looking at you Cervelo.)

I don't disagree with that. Just that it kills me to see people drop $6K on a bike and have the experience marred by Fulcrum Racing 7s (not that they're a bad wheel per se.)

The bad thing about C'dale is that it's an absolute PITA to get a frameset, it seems. Few dealers told me they didn't exist, and the two that would order it for me gave me the bad news from the NA supplier that there was none available back in April. And when you can actually get your hands on a frameset, colour choices are limited too.

So 2013 rolls on and Cannondale still can't find a better position for the battery. Pure laziness.

I actually think the standard position would be the strongest (and therefore least in need of re-inforceent, and extra weight) position. I also think it would be the most aero, since it is in the dirty air behind the seat tube. Looks poxy though. I hope they have a proper, drilled mount rather than the bottle cage mounted extension thingy.

With the advent of 9,000 the battery goes into the seatpost, problem solved.

I've got "old" Di2 on a System Six and my battery is in the post- inexpensive modification and really cleans up the look of the bike.
