DT Swiss makes complete wheelsets (handbuilt) looks very nice and should be light

DT-Swiss R 1.1

available with 28 or 32 spokes (DT-Aero-Light)
Hubs 240s
Weight (including Skewers): 1.600 Grams
Price around 650 Euros

(German TOUR Magazine 02/04)

1600gm is pretty heavy :!:

With the Euro at 1.28, that's US$832.00...expensive for such heavy wheels.

Ok, Weight is including skewers, but still... and they are low profile :(

I see no reason that this will be a megaseller

If one of those magasins they advertise in, gives them a good rating in some 'test', they will sell... trust me... I work in a bikeshop and when one of those crappy magasins does an article about some new part, some customers can't wait to order one...
